Brinjal Plant
The Brinjal Plant (Solanum melongena), also known as Eggplant or Baingan, is a popular warm-season vegetable belonging to the Solanaceae family. It is widely cultivated across tropical and subtropical regions for its glossy, fleshy fruits that come in shades of purple, green, white, and striped varieties. Brinjal plants grow up to 2–4 feet tall, with broad green leaves and violet flowers. The fruits vary in shape and size, from small round types to long slender ones. Brinjal is highly nutritious and low in calories, containing fiber, potassium, and antioxidants that support heart health and digestion.
